Role Description This is a full-time Artificial Intelligence Engineer role based in Istanbul in a hybrid work model. The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, implement, and optimize machine learning models to generate realistic, human-like voices, with a focus on performance, scalability, and audio quality. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching new approaches in speech synthesis and pattern recognition, building and training neural network architectures, and integrating models into production-grade software systems. The role involves close collaboration with other engineers, data scientists, and product teams to define requirements, perform experiments, analyze results, and iterate on solutions. The engineer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of the AI development pipeline. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including algorithms, data structures, and production-quality coding practices. Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, preferably in domains such as speech, audio, or signal processing. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML (such as Python), and familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. Experience with training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models, including data preprocessing and model optimization. Experience working with APIs and cloud services: practical experience designing and consuming RESTful or gRPC APIs; integrating ML models via APIs; and deploying, monitoring, and scaling services on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Familiarity with cloud ML services (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI), object storage, CI/CD for ML, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless functions is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with team members both on-site and remotely. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on clear documentation and reproducible experiments. Experience with speech synthesis, audio signal processing, or generative models (e.g., GANs, diffusion models) is a plus.
